Thanks for stopping by!

We had a smaller flood last year and that had us already thinking about what would happen with a bigger one.

Both years, the majority of the water accumulated in the southern end of the courtyard, which makes us think that we'll turn that portion into a garden.

For the new wall area, we're probably going to have to drill some drainage holes thru it at ground level, tho the ground outside the wall isn't much lower that inside.

As for the dome, it didn't flood, so we're not too worried. Tho we're planning a gravel floor for drainage, just in case. The sides will be finished with concrete and probably tile inset seating. (The picture we have in our heads it cool :)Beth & Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06195135833090789452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7508916176031505429.post-14199825697651781032013-07-08T14:18:08.996-06:002013-07-08T14:18:08.996-06:00This reminds me of a scene in the movie "In t...This reminds me of a scene in the movie "In to the Wild"where he almost get drowned from a flud in the desert. As we say in France:"Après la pluie vient le beau temps".Courage!Cristo toot Sweet.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7508916176031505429.post-86435689682843192512013-07-07T23:55:46.538-06:002013-07-07T23:55:46.538-06:00so how do you plan to address the drainage issues ...so how do you plan to address the drainage issues in the future, especially pertaining to digging down in the dome to make the floor deeper?DaveLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01837748113498012191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7508916176031505429.post-33323977195193354082013-07-07T19:54:06.602-06:002013-07-07T19:54:06.602-06:00So dissappointing I bet!
